Contract Summary
The Contract Summary presents the contract terms in a concise table format. Each "contract term" is defined by the appropriate codes (revenue codes, DRG's, ICD-9's, CPT's, etc.), payment levels and payment types (per diem, case rate, per unit, “lesser of”, etc.). This document leaves no doubt as to the agreed reimbursement for each business rule.

Process Trail
The Process Trail provides a "plain English" explanation of how the claim was paid according to the contract terms governing that claim. This is accomplished during the pricing process. Any business rule that the claim "activates" is recorded and displayed in the Process Trail. By going on-line (at your option) providers can access any claim for this information.

The Contract Summary and Process trail can be made available to your providers via the web (at your discretion). Being able to access to these documents means many of your providers questions are answered without your call center’s involvement.
